Developing Serverless Solutions on AWS
A three-day course giving developers hands-on practice with serverless application patterns. It covers event-driven design and how to choose services for it, connecting managed AWS services into working applications, writing Lambda functions well with proper error handling, logging and execution reuse, building in observability and security, and setting up a CI/CD workflow with AWS SAM, the AWS CDK and AWS developer tools.

Learning Objectives
In this course, you will learn to:
Design event-driven systems: Apply event-driven best practices and choose suitable AWS services.
Compose managed services: Build applications from patterns that connect AWS services together.
Write better Lambda functions: Apply best practice for error handling, logging and execution reuse.
Build in observability: Design monitoring and tracing into the application from the start.
Secure serverless applications: Apply security best practices across the stack.
Automate delivery: Configure CI/CD using AWS SAM, the AWS CDK and AWS developer tools.
