Professional Training · Generative AI & Agentic AI Track
Agentic AI Foundations
A one-day introduction to agentic AI on AWS, covering how goal-driven agents differ from conversational assistants. You will look at agent types, design patterns and architectural choices, work through the AWS tooling available including Amazon Q, Kiro and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and learn how agent systems are monitored, optimised and scaled in practice.

Who Should Attend
- Software Developers: Developers new to agentic AI who want a grounding in how agents work.
- Technical Professionals: Practitioners exploring what agentic AI can and cannot do.
- Development Teams: Teams assessing agentic solutions and weighing up different agent types.
- AWS Users: Existing users of Amazon Q or Amazon Bedrock Agents moving into agentic work.
Prerequisites
This is a foundational course. To get the most from it, you should have:
Completion of Generative AI Essentials, or equivalent hands-on experience with generative AI.
Basic working knowledge of AWS services.
Some software development experience.
Learning Objectives
In this course, you will learn to:
Distinguish agentic from conversational AI: Understand what separates goal-driven agents from traditional assistants.
Survey the AWS agent tooling: Explore Amazon Q, Kiro and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
Compare agent types: Tell workflow, autonomous and hybrid agents apart and choose between them.
Choose supporting services: Select the AWS services suited to building a given agent.
Apply implementation patterns: Work with basic design patterns and interoperability approaches.
Operate agent systems: Monitor, optimise and scale agents once they are running.
Certification
A MY Code Campus certificate of completion is awarded for Agentic AI Foundations.
In-person in Kuala Lumpur or live virtual. Team & enterprise rates available.
